My review
With Spotify premium apk, we can listen to music for free on mobile and play any song and artist, including playlists. It also has a shuffle option and can be played and chosen within the playlist. The apk will also allow us to play any song on our tablet and phone and also offer a TV version of the app. Spotify is completely free to use but also has a paid premium service that will allow us to download music and play the music offline. With the paid version it will also offer better sound quality and have no advertisements showing and if we decide we can cancel the service at any time.
Audio Quality
The quality depends and they have 4 different settings for streaming. They stream in the Ogg Vorbis format and the different levels of bitrate quality vary as follows.
- 24kbps low quality to save data.
- 96kbps is considered their normal standard.
- 160kbps is high stream quality.
- 320kbps is very high and considered their extreme audio for paying customers.
The quality level you have chosen will depend on person to person and some people having data caps and low internet might opt-in to choose the normal standard. The very high and extreme audio will only be available to people who pay for Spotify Premium and there is no other possible way without paying to have this option.
Spotify Connect
Spotify Connect will allow you to play your songs via many other different devices within the home. This will connect to Hifi Tuners that support it and other devices like Wi-Fi speakers connected to the television, Google Home, Amazon Echo, and others. The app can be used on phones, Tablets, and Personal computers to stream music to compatible Spotify Connect devices.
Spotify Kids
Spotify Kids is an app aimed at your children and an option for those already with the Spotify Premium plan. The app is considered safe and it caters to children from the age of 3 years and upwards. The content is provided in a kid-friendly way which makes it more engaging. The music is more interactive with singalong songs, and film soundtracks of kids’ stories. The app is still not available in some parts of the world. Still, it so far has been rolling out to several regions including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand, and more.
