APK Editor is a good tool that has been kept alive by the modding community, the old version is long gone and now we see modders from the community keeping it going with the latest updates and fixes. The app is very useful and allows you to edit apps to remove ads, add new things, and create your own patches.

How Do I Add Patches To APK Editor ?

Step 1 There’s a button right next to build click this button and this will bring you to another screen

Step 2 Now you need to click on save patch examples to sd card this will create the patch folder where your patches will go

Step 3 Now you have done this you need to use a file manager to browse and look for a folder called AE inside that folder you will see patches. In this folder you might see a patch that was already created by apk editor to get you started.

Step 4 Now locate the patches you have download in zip form and long click and copy that file to the folder in the previous Step 3 I find es file explorer best for this.

Step 5 Now Relocate the AE folder and paste it into patches when this is done you will see a zip folder that we need to extract

Step 6 You will now see the patches you pasted, we can now extract that file anywhere within that folder. Long press the patches and click on the more tab at the end and choose the extract to option.

Step 7 You have now extracted the patches congrats, all we need to do is the same as step 1 and locate the patch folder within apk editor.

The app lets you edit any APK saved to your device or apps you have installed. And if you don’t have the APK itself, you can extract it from any app that you have installed.

Apk editor lets you choose between two types of editing: FULL EDIT, which lets you rebuild files from an APK, and SIMPLE EDIT, which lets you replace files inside an APK.

whatever your choice, it is simple to edit any aspect of an APK. You can change an app’s background image, add or remove languages, or even delete permissions. Everything depends on how skilled you are. You can build your own patches or find patches online to make the app work without any skills needed.
